LS Engine Mounts

The Dirty Dingo DD-SLIDER engine mounts are engineered for LS conversion projects, facilitating the installation of 1997-2013 Gen III/IV LS series engines into older GM muscle cars, trucks, and applications utilizing a standard three-bolt factory-style engine mount from 1958 to 1972, and Corvettes from 1962 to 1982. These mounts are constructed from .250 cold roll plate steel and offer significant adjustability. Dingo Sliders provide up to 2 inches of fore/aft engine positioning, allowing the engine to be mounted in the original bell housing location or moved forward. They also position the LS engine approximately ¼” higher than other adapter plates. Additionally, they are compatible with clam shell/motor mount bracket (elephant ears/buckets) combos found on 1972+ GM vehicles. Installation involves bolting the clam shell to the outer plate. It is important to note that an aftermarket oil pan may be required. These mounts are sold in pairs, with "D" indicating the driver's side and "P" indicating the passenger's side. They will not fit Dart aftermarket blocks. Furthermore, these mounts will not clear low-mount A/C or low-mount GTO rear alternator braces, though they will accommodate Camaro low-mount alternators with limited movement. Critically, these mounts will not fit on 1967-72 4x4 Chevrolet GMC trucks, which require a complete front cross member. Plain raw steel is the standard finish, with a black texture powder coat available as an option.
