LS Engine Swap Mounts

The Dirty Dingo Motorsports "Ford Upgrade" conversion engine mounts are specifically engineered for installing 1997-2013 Gen III/IV LS series engines into 1996-2004 Ford Mustangs. These patented design motor mounts provide up to 2 inches of adjustability, allowing for 1 inch forward and 1 inch rearward placement from the standard location. This flexibility ensures compatibility with existing 4.6 Ford motor mount designs for the 1996-2004 Mustang, whether they are factory rubber, aftermarket urethane, or solid engine mounts. Constructed from precision CNC water-jet cut .250 plate steel, these mounts accommodate an LS truck oil pan, though it will hang below the K-member. For optimal ground clearance with a rear sump setup, an F-body Camaro oil pan is recommended. Grade-8 hardware is included for installation. These mounts are available in raw steel or with a black texture powder coat finish. It is important to note specific fitment considerations. These mounts will not fit DART aftermarket blocks. While they can clear low-mount alternators, they will mount against the A/C compressor bracket and will not allow the engine to slide back if a low-mount A/C system is used. All threaded holes in the engine block and cylinder head should be cleaned and tapped with a thread chaser prior to installation.
