The MSD LS Ignition Control Box provides a powerful, reliable, and adaptable ignition management solution for GM Gen III/IV LS engines. Designed for both stock crate engines and custom performance builds, this box allows users to dial in precise engine tunes using either pre-programmed timing tables or fully custom 3-D tables and timing plots accessible via the user-friendly MSDView software. It is compatible with both 24x/1x and 58x/4x crank/cam configurations and features automatic detection of the correct reluctor wheel pattern. This unit is a dedicated ignition controller and does not manage fuel systems. It is not compatible with non-LS engines, such as the 2015 Gen III 5.7L HEMI. The box includes an integrated 2.5 Bar MAP sensor for naturally aspirated or boosted applications, along with high-speed data acquisition, idle timing control, and individual cylinder timing. Installation includes a wiring harness and surface-mount hardware. Users can select timing tables on the fly using a rotary selector switch. For optimal performance, the unit includes 8MB of internal data logging to record and review track performance.
