The Cold Air Inductions 512-1059-08-B air intake system is engineered to enhance the performance of 2005-2009 Chevrolet Trailblazer SS models equipped with the 6.0L V8 engine. This system is designed to replace the restrictive factory air box, potentially increasing horsepower by up to 14 at the wheels and improving throttle response. The intake tube is constructed from aluminum with a durable textured black powder coat finish, paired with a sealed aluminum air box that draws in cooler, denser air for increased efficiency. The system utilizes a reusable, oiled cotton-gauze air filter, designed to capture particles as small as 5 microns and can be cleaned and re-oiled for extended use. A clear inspection window is integrated into the air box for easy filter checks without disassembly. The construction emphasizes durability and efficient heat dissipation. The product is built in the USA and comes with a Limited Lifetime Warranty. It is important to note that this intake system is not CARB compliant and not legal for sale or use in California or any state with similar emission standards. Additionally, it is not street-legal in all 50 states.
