The Hooker 12643HKR engine mount brackets are specifically designed to simplify the process of installing a GM LS motor into a 1978-1988 A/G-Body chassis. The kit includes all necessary mounting hardware for a straightforward bolt-on installation. Constructed from durable steel with a zinc-plated finish for corrosion resistance, these mounts provide a fine-tuned fit for the intended application. They are designed to work with the Holley LS swap oil pan 302-2 and accessory drive brackets, maintaining an engineered 3 to 3.5-degree engine and transmission inclination angle crucial for proper driveline alignment. The system is designed to replicate the stock small-block engine placement when used in conjunction with the Hooker 12644HKR transmission crossmember. Installation requires careful attention to the provided instructions. While TH350 transmissions can typically reuse the factory crossmember, the slots will need to be elongated forward. It is recommended to thoroughly read all provided instructions before beginning the installation process to ensure a successful swap.
