LS Swap Longtube Headers 1 7/8" 304 Stainless Steel

The Speed Engineering LS Swap Longtube Headers are crafted from 304 stainless steel, offering a blend of quality, performance, and value. Key features include 1 7/8" primary tubes that transition into a 3" collector, enhanced by collector merge spikes and CNC machined flanges for superior flow and sealing. These headers are specifically designed for GM LS V8 engines, accommodating displacements from 4.8L to 6.2L, as well as popular LS variants like LS1, LS2, LS3, LS6, and LSA. The package includes standard graphite manifold gaskets. These headers are intended exclusively for GM LS engine swaps and are not compatible with Ford engines. Successful installation has been tested with AJE Motor Mounts, Flaming River Steering Shafts, and AJE K-Members; other component combinations are considered unknown and may require fabrication. The product is designated for race-only competition use and may not be legally registered or licensed for use on public roads. Vehicle applications are specifically for the 1979-1993 Ford Fox Body Mustang and the 1994-2004 Ford Mustang. Customers have reported that while the fit and finish are very good, a U-joint style steering shaft upgrade may be necessary, and the factory rag joint steering shaft cannot be used.
