The Speed Engineering LS Swap Shorty Headers are a performance exhaust component crafted from natural 304 stainless steel. They feature CNC machined flanges, V-band collector construction, and merge spikes for improved performance.

Constructed from natural 304 stainless steel, these headers are mandrel-bent and TIG welded, ensuring durability and optimal flow. They are designed to deliver performance gains of over 18 rwhp. The shorty design and port-matched flanges contribute to improved header-to-block and chassis clearance. They are designed to fit a range of V8 engines including 4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L, 6.2L, LS1, LS2, LS3, LS6, and LSA. Vehicle applications include 1982-2004 Chevrolet S10 Trucks, 1982-2004 GMC Sonoma Trucks, 1982-2005 Chevrolet S10 Blazers, 1982-2005 GMC Jimmys, and 1991-2001 Oldsmobile Bravadas. Installation notes indicate that a similar designed spark plug wire or Speed Engineering's own wires will be needed for proper clearance. If using a larger 4L80E or older Turbo 350/400 transmission, the bellhousing ears may require trimming for clearance. These headers are tucked in tight due to narrow older frame clearances. Additionally, these headers will not work on 4x4 applications, and the collector may require modification to work with aftermarket oil pans. This product is designated for RACE ONLY use and is manufactured and sold for installation on vehicles intended solely for competition purposes. Use on a public road or highway may violate the Clean Air Act and could subject the owner to personal civil or criminal liability. Universal weld-in catalytic converters, if purchased separately, will also require fabrication for installation.
