Description

The Collins Performance Technologies LS to CD009 Transmission Swap Kit enables the integration of GM LSX based engines with Nissan 350Z (CD001-CD009) and 370Z (JK40C) 6-speed transmissions. This kit is specifically engineered for Nissan 350Z (Z33) and Infiniti G35 models produced between 2003 and 2008, allowing for a straightforward installation. The swap process involves cutting the existing bell housing off the stock transmission, removing the front input shaft bearing cover, replacing the pump cover gasket with liquid gasket material, and then bolting the adapter plate to the LSX bell housing. The adapter plate is then attached to the transmission before installing the LSX slave cylinder and mounting the transmission to the engine. The kit supports a wide range of GM LSX engines, including LS1, LS2, LS3, LQ9, LS7, LQ4, LS9, L33, LR4, LM7, L59, LM4, and L76.
