LS1 F Body Alternator/Power Steering Bracket Kit

The LSX Innovations LS1 F Body Alternator/Power steering Bracket Kit is a precision-machined billet aluminum assembly designed to mount the alternator and power steering pump in the factory 1998-2002 Camaro locations. It includes the power steering bracket, alternator bracket, a rear alternator brace, and a smooth idler pulley to complete the drive configuration. This kit is intended for use with 1998-2002 Camaro LS1 alternators and power steering pumps. While it is designed specifically for Camaro belt spacing, it can be adapted for use with truck alternators, which may require a belt that is 3/4 inch longer. Users must utilize the factory 1998-2002 Camaro belt (part number 790k6), power steering pump (part number 19320094), and power steering pulley (part number 12559885). Please note that if you are using this kit on truck engines that only have a single alternator mounting hole, you will be required to drill and tap a second M10-1.5MM hole in the engine block to ensure secure fitment. The manufacturer recommends their specific drill and tap kit, which is available separately, to perform this modification.
