LS1 High Flow Air Lid

The Fast Toys LS1 High Flow Air Lid is engineered to meet the increased airflow demands of powerful, highly modified LS1 motors, offering a substantial improvement over stock air lids and MAF sensors. It features an exclusive "Power Bulge" design that substantially increases air lid volume and ensures a smooth transition from the air filter to the 100mm MAF sensor. This lid installs directly onto the stock factory lower air filter base, though a 100mm MAF sensor is required and sold separately. With a 104mm inner diameter, this air lid is designed to work seamlessly with TSP or Lingenfelter 100mm MAF sensors. The lid boasts 27% more volume than the stock lid (baffles removed) and 14% more volume than other popular aftermarket lids, which supports larger horsepower and torque improvements. For those utilizing a speed density tune (SD) and removing the MAF sensor, this lid can be connected directly to the throttle body for optimal flow, with an outer diameter of 108mm. Installation notes indicate potential minor rubbing issues with stock and aftermarket SS hoods on 1998-2002 Camaros, which can be mitigated with adhesive tape or velcro. Some Z28 applications may require modification of the lower airbox or hood if the hood cannot be closed. Firebirds, WS6, and Firehawk models typically experience no fitment issues. For 2000-2002 models, a K&N breather filter for the smog pump is required and available separately.
