Overview

The Brian Tooley Racing LS1/LS2 Stage 3 V2 camshaft is a hydraulic roller camshaft designed for naturally aspirated Gen III/IV LS engines. It features 227 intake duration and 24x exhaust duration at .050 lift, with .636 lift on both intake and exhaust and a 111.5 LSA. This camshaft offers an aggressive idle and performs well in the mid to upper RPM range.

The Brian Tooley Racing LS1/LS2 Stage 3 V2 camshaft is engineered for naturally aspirated Gen III and Gen IV LS engines. It features a duration of 227° intake / 24x° exhaust at .050 lift, a lift of .636"/.636", and a lobe separation angle (LSA) of 111.5. This camshaft is dyno tested to achieve a strong power curve while maintaining valvetrain stability and durability. It provides an aggressive idle and offers approximately 18% horsepower gains at peak compared to an OEM LS2 camshaft. Importantly, this camshaft will not require flycutting of pistons when used with OEM combustion chamber sizes, though checking piston-to-valve clearance is advised if heads are milled. To maximize the potential of the Stage 3 V2 camshaft, an aftermarket torque converter stall is recommended. For proper operation and to ensure valvetrain stability, installation requires BTR's .660" Lift Platinum spring kit with titanium retainers and hardened pushrods. This product is legal for sale and use in all 50 states.
