LS1/LS2 Stage 4 V2 Camshaft

The Brian Tooley Racing LS1/LS2 Stage 4 V2 Camshaft is engineered for naturally aspirated Gen III/Gen IV LS engines. This camshaft, ground in-house with BTR's state-of-the-art lobe designs, is the most aggressive in their LS1/LS2/LS6 naturally aspirated series. It is refined to deliver increased power and torque compared to previous Stage 4 offerings, while maintaining BTR's reputation for reliability and value. This Stage 4 V2 camshaft provides a highly aggressive idle, signaling significant performance enhancements. While it sacrifices some low-end torque compared to other BTR camshafts, it excels in delivering substantial horsepower in the higher RPM range. With appropriate supporting modifications, such as quality cylinder heads, a high-flowing intake and throttle body, headers, and a well-flowing exhaust system, it is possible to achieve over 500 wheel horsepower. For automatic transmissions, a higher RPM torque converter is required to fully harness the potential of this camshaft. Brian Tooley Racing's new lobe designs have undergone Spintron and Engine Dyno testing to optimize the overall power curve while ensuring strict valvetrain stability and durability. The use of this camshaft necessitates BTR's .660" Lift Platinum spring kit with titanium retainers and hardened pushrods. Important considerations for installation include: any cylinder head milling when using factory pistons requires fly-cutting the valve pockets and checking piston-to-valve clearance. This camshaft is legal for sale and use in all 50 states as it does not require an EO in California.
