Overview

The Katech LS3 550HP is a performance long block engine featuring a 58x crankshaft trigger. It utilizes a new GM LS3 wet sump base engine with an OEM rotating assembly. This engine includes a Katech Torquer camshaft, Katech CNC ported heads, and BTR dual valve springs. It also comes with ARP cam bolts, Trend 3/8 .080 pushrods, ARP head bolts, an OEM GM damper, and OEM valve covers.

The Katech LS3 550HP Performance Long Block Engine is a robust performance upgrade built on a new GM LS3 wet sump base engine with an OEM rotating assembly. Complementing these are BTR dual valve springs, ARP cam bolts and head bolts for superior structural integrity, and Trend 3/8 .080 pushrods. Key components include an OEM GM damper and OEM valve covers, ensuring compatibility and quality. The F-Body oil pan is included, making it a strong candidate for engine swaps. However, this assembly does not include any electronics, intake manifold, fuel system, or ignition components. Additionally, the dipstick, dipstick tube, and steam vent pipe are not part of this package. This engine is built to order, and customers should contact sales for estimated lead times. Due to its size and weight, it ships via freight only. Please consult with sales for a shipping quote before finalizing your purchase.
