LS3 6.2L Crate Engine

The Chevrolet Performance LS3 crate engine is a 6.2L small-block V8 designed to deliver 430 horsepower and 424 ft.-lbs. of torque. Engineered for efficiency and performance, it utilizes a cast aluminum block with 6-bolt cross-bolted main caps for enhanced durability, along with high-flowing rectangular-port cylinder heads derived from the LS7. Internal components include a nodular iron crankshaft, powdered metal connecting rods, and hypereutectic aluminum pistons with a 10.7:1 compression ratio, enabling a 6600 RPM redline.
