The Chevrolet Performance LS3 6.2L Crate Engine, SKU 19540155, offers a compelling blend of proven power and durability, making it a top choice for street rods and custom builds. This engine draws technology from the C6 Corvette family, featuring a robust all-aluminum LS3 block with 6-bolt, cross-bolted main caps. It is equipped with a 3.622" stroke nodular iron crankshaft, hyper-eutectic aluminum pistons, and a high-lift hydraulic roller camshaft. Engineered for performance, the LS3 boasts high-flowing, rectangular port L92-design aluminum cylinder heads and delivers an impressive 430 horsepower at 5900 RPM and 425 ft-lbs of torque at 4600 RPM. The compression ratio stands at 10.7:1. This fully dressed crate engine includes essential components such as the EFI intake manifold assembly with injectors, throttle body, water pump, harmonic balancer, and oil pan. It also features a 58X reluctor wheel for modern engine management. Installation and optimal operation require specific components. It is recommended to use the factory-engineered Chevrolet Performance LS3 Crate Engine Controller Kit (P/N 19354328). Additionally, the specific oil pan included may not suit all applications; a vehicle-specific oil pan or Chevrolet Performance's Muscle Car Oil Pan Kit (P/N 19212593) may be necessary for older vehicles.
