The GM Performance LS3 6.2L Crate Engine (MPN 19540155) offers a potent combination of modern technology and uncompromising performance, making it a top choice for enthusiasts and builders of street rods, muscle cars, and resto-mods. Built upon the renowned LS Gen 4 platform, this engine is derived from the C6 Corvette engine family and is engineered for high-revving capability and durability. Constructed with a lightweight, cast aluminum LS3 block featuring a 6-bolt, cross-bolted main cap design, this engine houses a sturdy reciprocating assembly. It pairs a nodular iron crankshaft with a 3.622-inch stroke with hyper-eutectic aluminum pistons. The high-flowing, aluminum L92-type rectangular-port cylinder heads contribute to a 10.7:1 compression ratio. A high-lift hydraulic roller camshaft, featuring a stock production LS3 profile, provides .551" lift on the intake valves and .522" on the exhaust valves, optimizing airflow and enhancing the engine's broad torque curve.
