LS3 6.2L Crate Engine

The Chevrolet Performance LS3 430 HP Long Block Crate Engine is a high-performance 6.2L V8 engine built for power and reliability. It features a durable cast aluminium engine block and aluminium cylinder heads, contributing to its impressive power output. With a 10.7:1 compression ratio, this assembled engine delivers 430 hp at 5,900 rpm and 425 lbs.-ft. of torque at 4,600 rpm. Internally, the LS3 utilizes a nodular iron crankshaft, powdered metal connecting rods, and hypereutectic pistons. The steel hydraulic roller camshaft provides significant valve lift (.551 intake / .522 exhaust) and duration at .050 in. of 204 degrees intake and 211 degrees exhaust, optimizing airflow and combustion efficiency. The engine is internally balanced and features a 1-piece rear main seal for robust sealing. To complete the installation, front-end accessories, exhaust manifolds, and a flywheel or flexplate must be acquired separately. Additionally, an engine controller kit is required for proper operation.
