LS3 Camshaft

The GPI LS3 Cam is a high-performance camshaft designed to be the best 3-bolt option for LS3, LS2, and LS1 engines, establishing itself as a benchmark for Camaros and Corvettes across the country. This camshaft package is suitable for naturally aspirated motors and also performs exceptionally well with centrifugal superchargers due to their linear power curve. It is also a great option for those planning to add boost later. Available in multiple iterations, the GPI LS3 Cam ranges from mild performance increases with near-stock drivability to aggressive N/A race applications. Specific configurations offer varying degrees of in/ex duration, valve lift, LSA, and ICL. For example, one variant features 224/237 duration, .646/.637 lift, 112 LSA, and a +4 ICL, designed for stock torque converters with a stable idle and smooth operation from off-idle to 6600 RPM. Installation of this camshaft requires specific components. Dual .660 valve springs, hardened pushrods, and a 3-bolt conversion are necessary.
