Overview
This camshaft is developed with BTR-designed lobes that have been Spintron and Engine Dyno tested for optimal power curves and valvetrain stability. It is designed to provide an aggressive idle and significant performance gains in the mid to upper RPM range, with a claimed 70 horsepower increase at peak. The BTR LS3 Stage 3 V2 Camshaft does not require piston flycutting when used with OEM LS3 combustion chamber sizes, though checking piston-to-valve clearance is advised if heads are milled.
