LS376/525 6.2L Crate Engine Assembly

The Chevrolet Performance LS376/525 is a 6.2L crate engine designed to deliver impressive power and a distinct camshaft idle. Based on the LS3, this engine incorporates an aggressive ASA performance camshaft with a 0.525" lift on both intake and exhaust, and a 110-degree lobe separation. This configuration results in 525 horsepower at 6200 RPM and 486 ft-lbs of torque at 5200 RPM, with intake durations of 226 degrees (intake) and 236 degrees (exhaust) measured at 0.050". Constructed with a cast aluminum block featuring 6-bolt main caps and a 4.065" bore, this engine also includes nodular iron crankshafts and aluminum LS3 rectangular port heads with 68cc chambers. The valves measure 2.165" on the intake and 1.590" on the exhaust. This engine requires premium 93-octane fuel for optimal performance. Important considerations for installation and use include that the crate engine does not include the ECM controller kit, which is available separately. It utilizes the Chevrolet SS Oil Pan Assembly, and users should consult the technical team for alternative oil pan suggestions to fit their specific application. This engine is not intended for marine usage and is developed by GM for pre-1976 street vehicle engine swaps.
