The Chevrolet Performance LS7 crate engine, part number 19244098, is a 7.0L, 427 CID powerhouse designed for enthusiasts seeking enhanced performance. This engine features a robust big-bore cylinder block, a forged steel crankshaft, featherweight titanium connecting rods, and friction-coated pistons for durability and power. Significant airflow is achieved through CNC-ported cylinder heads equipped with 2.20-inch titanium intake valves and 1.61-inch sodium-filled exhaust valves. This engine assembly includes a high-lift hydraulic roller camshaft, high-rate valve springs, fifth-generation Camaro Z/28 exhaust manifolds, and a low-profile LS7 EFI intake manifold complete with fuel rails, injectors, and throttle body. A fourteen-inch Camaro Z/28 168-tooth manual transmission flywheel is also included. Installation requires the LS427/570 Engine Controller P/N 19420000, which is sold separately. Chevrolet Performance recommends using Mobil 1 15W50 fully synthetic motor oil for optimal performance and longevity with this engine.
