The Texas Speed LS7 Stage 1.2 camshaft is an performance-oriented cam designed to enhance the power output of factory GM 7.0L LS7 engines. It serves as a refined alternative to larger variants, focusing on improving low-end and mid-range torque while keeping the vehicle's idle and drivability close to stock. Technically, this camshaft utilizes a 3-bolt pattern with 228/240 duration and .635"/.635" lift (based on a 1.8:1 LS7 rocker ratio). It operates within an effective power band of 2000-6600 RPM. Testing was conducted on a SuperFlow 902 engine dyno to ensure balanced gains across the entire RPM range without requiring additional internal modifications to the engine block. Custom tuning is strictly recommended to realize the full performance benefits and ensure smooth operation. Please note that this product is not legal for sale or use in the state of California.
