LS7 Stage 4.2 Camshaft

The TSP Texas Speed LS7 Stage 4.2 camshaft is engineered to maximize horsepower in 7.0L LS7 engines, particularly in performance builds like the Z06 Corvette and Z28 Camaro. It boasts custom-ground lobes developed with extensive SuperFlow 902 engine dyno testing, aiming for improved power delivery throughout the entire RPM range. Featuring a 248/260 duration with .657"/.655" lift and a 111 LSA (108 ICL), this camshaft is designed for a 3000-7000 RPM power band. It is characterized by an aggressive idle, signaling its serious performance intent. For optimal performance and to ensure proper operation, custom tuning is a mandatory requirement after installation. The camshaft utilizes a 3-bolt pattern. Texas Speed offers various kit options to simplify the installation process. These include the camshaft by itself, or complete kits that bundle the camshaft with TSP LS7 .660" Polished Dual Springs, titanium retainers, shims, valve seals, and 7.800" long, 3/8" Chromoly pushrods. A gasket kit, including timing cover gasket, water pump gaskets, front crankshaft seal, and a new LS7 dry-sump damper bolt, is also available.
