Overview

The BTR LS7 Stage 4 V2 Camshaft is a hydraulic roller camshaft designed for LS7 naturally aspirated engines. Developed in-house by BTR, this camshaft features BTR-designed lobes and has undergone extensive Spintron testing and Superflow Engine Dynamometer vetting. It is intended for maximum effort naturally aspirated builds when combined with ported cylinder heads, an aftermarket throttle body, and an intake manifold.

The BTR LS7 Stage 4 V2 Camshaft is engineered for high-performance, naturally aspirated LS7 engines. It features a 246/26X duration at 0.050 lift, .660"/.660" lift, and a 111 LSA. This camshaft is not for the faint of heart, producing an aggressive idle and prioritizing significant top-end power at the expense of some low-end torque. For optimal performance and reliability, it is recommended to use this cam in conjunction with ported cylinder heads, an aftermarket throttle body, and an intake manifold, such as BTR's Trinity series. The specifications also indicate an intake lobe lift at TDC of 0.09390. BTR recommends their .660" Lift Platinum spring kit with titanium retainers for use with this camshaft. Due to the LS7 rocker arm's longer pivot length and scroll, lift up to .660" can be utilized without valve tip damage. The recommended maximum open spring pressure is 430 lbs. For maximum performance and reliability, BTR also suggests using titanium intake valves with their LS7 camshafts. This camshaft is specifically designed for LS7 7.0L engines and is compatible with the 2006-2013 Z06 Corvette and the 2014-2015 Camaro Z/28. It is intended for maximum effort combinations and has achieved up to 600 wheel horsepower in various applications with appropriate supporting modifications.
