LSA/LS9 6.2L Modified Throttle Body

The Soler Performance SE9992-91 is a premium modified, ported, and calibrated throttle body engineered for LSA or LS9 6.2L V8 engines, and also compatible with 5.3L applications. This component is specifically designed for vehicles including the Corvette 6th Gen. ZR1 (2009-2013), Camaro 5th Gen. ZL1 (2012-2015), Cadillac CTS-V (2009-2015), Escalade (2009-2015), Silverado/Sierra (2009-2013), and Suburban/Yukon (2009-2013). This throttle body boasts advanced features such as optimized active contours with sonic flow nozzles, a porting taper, and upstream bore with a velocity stack for enhanced airflow dynamics. It incorporates a greater discharge coefficient at the plate/blade interface and a 16 Ra microinch diamond-polished surface finish to reduce skin friction. The design includes a shaftless high-pressure side of the blade, achieving a 91mm effective bore and a self-cleaning throat/flow gap. It is constructed from brand new OEM parts. Performance enhancements include a significant increase in wide-open throttle flow, measured at 1128 +/- 20 SCFM at 20.4” of water vacuum, which is a 16% improvement over the OEM 970 SCFM. Drivers will experience a lower weight-to-power ratio at part throttle for a more nimble and spirited driving experience, along with linearization and smoothing of the power curve for improved response and crisper shifts. The unit provides immediate response from idle without hesitation or stumbling, and offers more air/power at every throttle position after idle, making it crucial for expanding power gain modifications. Installation is designed to be easy, typically taking 15 minutes or less, and it does not require tuning, maintaining warranty safety. This product comes with a 1-year warranty.
