Description

The ARP LSD Bolt Kit is a crucial component for upgrading the differential in your 5-speed 02A or 02J transmission. This kit includes all the necessary hardware to securely replace the factory riveted differential with a limited-slip differential (LSD) using high-strength ARP bolts. The bolts are forged from premium-grade 8740 chromoly steel and heat-treated to achieve a tensile strength of 200,000 psi, ensuring durability and reliability under demanding conditions. It is important to note that early 02A transmissions with the transmission code ATA and a production number up to 12099 will require the 020 gear bolt kit (part number 204-3001) instead of this kit. Additionally, installation requires drilling out the factory ring gear retaining rivets to accommodate the ARP ring gear bolts.
