LSJ Cobalt 3" Cold Air Intake

The ZZP 3" LSJ Cobalt Cold Air Intake is a full-length, 3-inch aluminum intake tube designed to enhance both the performance and sound of your vehicle's engine. Unlike shorter pipes or multi-diameter tubes, this intake maintains a consistent 3-inch diameter throughout its construction, aiming for optimal airflow. ZZP has invested in creating a product that not only performs well but also presents a clean, attractive appearance. Expect typical power gains ranging from 8-12 wheel horsepower with this intake, accompanied by a more pronounced engine sound compared to the stock OEM part. The kit includes a ZZP 3-inch powder-coated aluminum intake tube, a ZZP air filter, a silicone coupler designed to fit the stock throttle body, and all the necessary clamps and hardware for a complete installation. Installation Notes: For those planning to use this intake with an LS4 throttle body, the separate LS4 45 Degree Coupler must be purchased. Additionally, ZZP recommends using their air filter wrap to protect the filter from debris, as the filter is positioned within the fenderwell. If installing on a supercharged base model (2.2L/2.4L), the windshield washer reservoir will need to be relocated. The simplest solution is to swap it for a reservoir from an LSJ model. Compatibility: This intake is specifically designed for the 2005-2007 Chevrolet Cobalt SS 2.0L models. It is recommended to tweak the PCM file to compensate for changes in the MAF sensor's tube size and shape.
