Constructed from durable billet steel, this camshaft features a grind number of 281LR HR-13, with advertised intake duration of 281 degrees and exhaust duration of 289 degrees. The duration at 0.050 inch lift is 231 degrees for intake and 239 degrees for exhaust, complemented by an intake valve lift of 0.617 inches and an exhaust valve lift of 0.624 inches. The operating range for this camshaft is between 2,000 and 7,000 RPM, and it requires upgraded valve springs for optimal performance. It is important to note that this camshaft requires piston notching for proper installation. Additionally, for maximum performance, it is recommended to avoid milling the cylinder heads and to pair this camshaft with good aftermarket cylinder heads.
