LSX-Z32 Transmission Mount

The Loj Conversions LSX-Z32-BASIC-Z32 is the most economical engine installation package for 1990-1996 Nissan 300ZX models, enabling the integration of Gen 3 or 4 Chevrolet LS engines with the factory Z32 manual transmission (NA or TT). This comprehensive BASIC kit provides all necessary components for a straightforward swap. It includes CNC-cut and powdercoated motor mounts with billet aluminum pedestals and polyurethane inserts, a transmission mount that repositions the Z32 transmission 3 inches (75mm) rearward, and a 6.5-quart oil pan featuring road race and anti-slosh baffling. The kit also incorporates a shortened shift linkage to maintain the stock shifter location, an LSx swap heater block and outlets to manage the Nissan heat control valve, and a Z32 transmission to LSx adapter plate. Key components also include a LOJ Billet Aluminum Flywheel, manufactured by Clutchmasters, which accepts a 350Z/G35/R32GTR/Z32NA clutch and uses a TT ring gear, with a starter shim provided for NA transmission use. The kit facilitates the use of an NA 300ZX clutch, which is noted to be cheaper and available in higher torque ratings than TT clutches due to its shared bolt pattern with other popular vehicles. Modifications to your vehicle are required for installation. A 2"x2" area in the transmission tunnel will need to be dented to clear the speedometer sensor. Additionally, clearancing is required for the starter due to the rearward relocation of the transmission and starter assembly. These modifications are detailed in the provided instructions. A new driveshaft or modification of the existing one (shortened by 3 inches) is also necessary.
