LT-16c ECU Tuner

The MicroTech LT-16c is a flagship model ECU designed to provide advanced fuel and ignition management. It offers a balance of capabilities found in more expensive units from competitors, while maintaining MicroTech's signature ease of installation and tunability at an accessible price point. Since its introduction in 2010, the LT-16c has been instrumental in numerous world record-setting performances and championship wins across various high-horsepower applications and demanding race conditions globally. This ECU comes standard with 8 injector and 8 ignition outputs, making it compatible with most common engines up to 16 cylinders and 4 rotors. It supports factory ignition systems like multi-coil and distributor setups, as well as aftermarket systems such as CDIs or MSD. For an extremely high-output direct-fire ignition system, it is frequently paired with the Microtech X6 igniter box. A notable feature is its CAN output, enabling direct connection to popular aftermarket dash loggers like Racepak, PCS, or MoTec, transmitting data at 1 Mbit/second. The LT-16c excels in controlling sequential injection for 4, 6, and 8-cylinder engines, as well as 2, 3, and 4-rotor Mazda rotary engines. It also supports direct-fire ignition for up to 8-cylinder or 4-rotor engines, or wasted spark ignition for engines up to 16 cylinders. Each unit is factory-preset for your specific engine combination and sensors, including a base map that allows the engine to start upon installation, giving tuners a solid starting point to reduce dyno time. Sold complete, the LT-16c includes a fully labeled 6ft flying lead wiring loom, wiring diagram, and a base program tailored to your engine. Optional configurations and upgrades are available, including different MAP sensor sizes, igniter options like the X6 or dual X4 modules for 4-rotor engines, engine protection sensor kits, wideband O2 sensor kits, and tuning options such as a USB laptop adapter kit or a MicroTech handset. It is designed to work with stock Mazda RX-7 OEM sensors and is configured to suit the application when ordered.
