It features a modified pressure section that increases pressure by 25% at 6000rpm and 45% at 3000rpm. The scavenge section offers 53.6% greater capacity and utilizes a 4140 billet steel gear, replacing the factory powdered metal gear.

The Katech KAT-A7092 oil pump is engineered to elevate the oiling system performance of LT dry sump engines, specifically the LT1, LT4, and LT5 models. This pump features a modified pressure section, providing a substantial increase of 25% in oil pressure at 6000 RPM and 45% at 3000 RPM, as confirmed by LT engine testing. The scavenge section boasts 53.6% greater capacity for improved oil return to the sump. Durability and reliability are enhanced through the use of a precision-machined 4140 billet steel single gear, which replaces the weaker factory powdered metal gear. It is compatible with both the factory cover and the Katech billet VVT delete cover. Installation may require calibration changes using tuning software such as HP Tuners or EFI Live to disable high-performance oil pump DTC codes. This is a brand-new pump with no core charge required. It is compatible with GM Gen V LT1, LT4, and LT5 dry sump engines.
