The Chevrolet 5.7L LT1 cylinder head, casting number 10207643, is a remanufactured aluminum component designed for enhanced engine performance. This head features reverse flow cooling and angle plug design, with a 54cc combustion chamber volume. The intake valves measure 2.00 inches in diameter, and the exhaust valves are 1.55 inches, complemented by 175cc intake ports. Each cylinder head undergoes a comprehensive remanufacturing process to meet high industry standards. This includes thorough cleaning via hot tank and media blasting, crack inspection, and pressure testing. Valve guides are serviced or replaced as needed, and the head surface is precision surfaced using PCD milling for optimal sealing. The assembly process incorporates new valve stem seals and new freeze plugs, ensuring quality and durability. Note that cam seals are not included. This cylinder head is specifically designed for 1992-1997 Chevrolet models with the 5.7L LT1 engine. Compatible vehicles include the Corvette, Caprice, and Camaro from these model years.
