The Texas Speed LT1 DOD Delete Kit is engineered to eliminate the Displacement on Demand (DOD) system on 2014-2018 LT1 engines, offering enhanced performance and reliability. This comprehensive kit includes all necessary components for the conversion, such as TSP LT1 MLS head gaskets, GM lifter trays, your selected lifters, GM head and crank bolts, TSP exhaust manifold gaskets, GM valley cover and valve cover gasket sets, GM crank damper seal, GM water pump gasket set, a GM/TSP camshaft retainer plate, TSP/GM cam phaser bolt, eight DOD tower block-off plugs, and ACDelco RTV sealant. Accompanying the DOD delete components is a cam kit featuring your choice of Texas Speed camshaft profiles, TSP dual .660" valve springs with titanium retainers, TSP 7.850" 3/8 chromoly pushrod set, and a TSP phaser lockout kit. Camshaft options include the LT1 Stage 1 V2, LT1 Stage 2 V2, EL-C7 V2, Turbo V2, and Supercharger V2, each with specific lift, duration, and LSA specifications tailored for different performance goals. For example, the LT1 Stage 2 V2 camshaft requires a 2800+ stall speed torque converter. A professional street or dyno tune is mandatory after the installation of this kit to ensure optimal performance and engine health. It is crucial to verify fuel pump preload when using camshafts with larger fuel lobes than factory. While the kit includes standard length 7.850" chromoly pushrods, actual length may vary based on lifter preload, so measuring pushrod length before startup is highly recommended.
