The Chevrolet Performance LT1 6.2L wet-sump crate engine represents the next chapter in the legacy of the Small-Block engine, offering an advanced combustion system with unprecedented performance and efficiency. Architecturally similar to the LS family, it features a unique block casting, cylinder head design, and oiling system. Key technologies include direct injection, Active Fuel Management (cylinder deactivation), and continuously variable valve timing. This Gen V Small-Block V-8 engine boasts specifications such as 455 horsepower at 6000 RPM and 455 lb.-ft. of torque at 4600 RPM. It has a displacement of 376 cubic inches (6.2L) and a compression ratio of 11.5:1. The engine is constructed with a cast-aluminum block, forged steel crankshaft, and forged powdered metal connecting rods. It includes aluminum rectangular port cylinder heads, billet steel hydraulic roller tappet camshaft, and premium pump recommended fuel. The engine is internally balanced and features a 58X reluctor wheel. Included components consist of a fully GM assembled long block, ignition coils, plug wires, spark plugs, oil pump, pick-up and wet sump oil pan, exhaust manifolds, intake, injectors, throttle body, high-pressure fuel pump, 14-auto trans flexplate, harmonic balancer, front timing cover, aluminum water pump, oil filter, and a passenger-side oil dipstick and tube. This particular model, 19431953, is for use with the Connect and Cruise 8-speed automatic package.
