The Texas Speed LT1/LT4 3-Bolt VVT Delete V2 Camshaft is engineered for enthusiasts seeking to maximize horsepower on Gen 5 LT1 and LT4 platforms. By transitioning to a 3-bolt timing design, this camshaft eliminates the factory VVT system, allowing for precise control over valve timing that enhances torque in the lower RPM range and horsepower in the upper RPM range. Each unit comes standard with a +32% fuel lobe to support increased fueling demands. Installation requires the complete removal of the factory AFM/DOD cylinder deactivation system, necessitating a separate DOD/AFM delete kit. This camshaft also requires the use of a lash cap on the fuel pump lobe during installation; however, it must not be used with an LT4 fuel pump.
