LT4 PD3 Camshaft Package

The Tapout Tuning LT4 PD3 Camshaft Package is engineered as a high-performance camshaft specifically for GM's LT4 positive displacement supercharged engines. Widely recognized as a benchmark for vehicles like the 6th Gen Camaro, C7 Corvette, and GM trucks equipped with PD blowers, this camshaft is designed to maximize performance. Pound for pound, it's presented as the premier LT4 positive displacement blower cam available. This package includes a GPI LT4 PD3 Blower Camshaft, Brian Tooley Racing Valve Spring Kit featuring .660” lift with titanium retainers, and GPI Hardened Pushrods measuring 3/8” x 7.85”. For proper installation and operation, the camshaft necessitates dual .660” valve springs, hardened pushrods, an AFM/DoD delete, and a 0° phase limiter plug. The camshaft is designed for stable idling around 725 RPM and delivers strong power from off-idle up to 6,400 RPM, benefiting from a smooth lobe design for quiet valve train operation and extended longevity. Included in the comprehensive kit are Chevrolet Performance AFM Delete Lifters, Head Gaskets, a Harmonic Balancer Bolt, Lifter Trays, Water Pump Gaskets, Camshaft Bolt, Timing Cover Seal, Camshaft Retainer Plate, Supercharger Bolts, and CHE Trunnion Upgrades. It also features CBI Streetcars AFM Delete Valley Cover Block Offs and a GPI Phase Limiter Plug, though a special spring lock phaser tool for the limiter is not included. Installation may also require or recommend optional components such as Cometic or OEM LT4 Head Gaskets, an ARP Head Stud Kit, and a Katech Wet Sump Oil Pump, for which a specialty tool is needed if reusing the factory pump.
