LT4 Supercharger Pulley

The Metco Motorsports LT4 Supercharger Pulley is engineered to enhance the performance of LT4 supercharged engines by increasing horsepower and torque. This pulley is designed as a direct replacement for the stock 2.50" steel unit, offering improved boost levels through its reduced diameter options of 2.30", 2.50" (stock diameter), or 2.75". Constructed with precision on a state-of-the-art CNC lathe, this pulley assembly ensures zero runout and perfect balance. It features a robust three-piece design, comprising a high-grade steel pulley hub, an interchangeable aluminum ring, and a front cover. The center bore of the hub is precisely sized for an interference fit on the supercharger shaft, facilitating installation without the need for pinning or drilling. The rear of the hub mirrors the original pulley's raised flange, ensuring correct installation and optimal belt alignment. The aluminum ring and front cover are black-anodized for long-lasting surface protection, while the steel pulley hub is nickel-plated. This approach eliminates the need for serrations or add-on coatings, thereby minimizing belt slip and avoiding common issues like belt noise, dust, and accelerated belt wear associated with such treatments. Proper PCM calibration is required after installation to ensure optimal performance and system compatibility. Additionally, a note from the manufacturer states that this LT4 supercharger pulley was revised in 9/2024, and there is no compatibility with components manufactured prior to this date.
