LTG Auxiliary Fueling Kit

The ZZP LTG Auxiliary Fueling Kit provides a straightforward solution for LTG engines that require increased fuel flow, especially for those aiming to run full E85. As direct-injected engines like the LTG push higher horsepower levels, the stock fuel system capacity is often exceeded, particularly with alternative fuels. This kit bypasses the need for internal engine modifications, such as a cam upgrade with a larger fuel pump lobe, or costly replacements of direct injection parts like the high-pressure mechanical pump or injectors. This auxiliary system is designed to enable full E85 use even with an upgraded turbocharger. While the LTG's stock fuel system typically maxes out around E47, this kit allows for a complete E85 mixture. It is important to note that an upgrade to the low-pressure (in-tank) fuel pump is likely necessary as this kit relies on it for supplementary fuel delivery. The AEM injector controller manages the system, initiating additional fueling based on a set MAF signal, ensuring unchanged daily driving characteristics. Benefits of this auxiliary fuel system include greater fueling gains compared to a fuel cam alone, without the additional labor involved in cam timing or replacement. The MAF Hz controller ensures that extra fuel is not injected during normal driving conditions. Additionally, the use of "port style" injectors helps maintain clean intake valves and increases their resistance to coking. Included components consist of a ZZP billet throttle body auxiliary injector spacer, a ZZP billet injector fuel rail, two 42# injectors, an AEM controller, -06AN fuel hose, controller wiring harness, injector harness, MAF harness, all necessary installation hardware, and instructions. Please be aware that remote tuning is required for this kit, and it will not function with a 1.0 flash PCM. This kit also necessitates a ZZP flex fuel kit. The fuel feed integrates with the flex fuel sensor, but since the controller does not monitor ethanol percentage, it is recommended to consistently use either full E85 or a set mixture. Consult your tuner for specific guidance on ethanol percentages.
