LTG Race Head Stud Kit

The ZZP LTG Race Head Stud Kit is engineered to enhance the reliability and longevity of high-horsepower applications for the 2.0L LTG engine. Recognizing that the cylinder head can lift in some high-output scenarios (above 500whp), ZZP developed these race head studs with a larger 10.90mm center shank. This design prevents stud stretch, which is crucial for maintaining head sealing under extreme conditions, especially given the factory LTG head stud length. This custom kit is manufactured exclusively for ZZPerformance and is specifically designed to fit the 2.0L LTG engine. It is commonly found in vehicles such as the Cadillac ATS, Chevrolet Camaro, Chevrolet Malibu, and Cadillac CTS, among others. The kit includes all necessary studs for installation into the engine block. Installation requires precise torque specifications and sequence. The nuts should be torqued in three passes: first to 25 ft-lbs, second to 50 ft-lbs, and a final pass to 90 ft-lbs. The recommended torque sequence is 10-6-2-3-7 for the first set of bolts and 9-5-1-4-8 for the second set.
