LTG ZFR Turbocharger

The ZZP LTG ZFR Turbo is a bolt-in performance upgrade for the LTG 2.0 liter engine, offering enhanced power and responsiveness. This turbocharger is based on the Borg Warner 6758 EFR model and is engineered to retain the factory exhaust manifold and downpipe for a simplified installation process. It features a water-cooled design with dual ceramic ball bearings for durability and performance, an extended tip compressor wheel, and integrated wastegate and bypass valve functionality. The ZFR turbo utilizes a custom stainless steel exhaust housing developed exclusively by ZZPerformance. A standout feature is its industry-first exhaust wheel, constructed from a lightweight aluminum titanium alloy, which is approximately half the weight of typical turbocharger wheels. This significantly reduces rotational mass, contributing to quicker spool times and improved throttle response. The kit includes necessary components such as water and oil feed fittings, an outlet tube to connect to factory or ZZP charge tubing, downpipe bolts and nuts, and vacuum connectors and lines. A specific tune is required after installation to optimize performance with the new turbo and any other modifications. This turbo is set up for the 2.0 liter Cadillac ATS, CTS, or Chevy Camaro. A FWD fitment version is also available for the Regal and Malibu, and may fit other transverse-mounted LTG engines. It's important to note that the ZFR turbos are significantly larger than the stock TD04 turbo. ZZPerformance strongly advises against running this turbo on stock internals due to the fragility of the LTG engine, and purchasing this turbo implies understanding that it can potentially harm a stock engine. Premium fuel is required, and a tune specifically for the ZFR turbo and other modifications is mandatory.
