LTG ZFR Turbocharger with Borg Warner 6758 EFR

The ZZPerformance LTG ZFR Turbo is a direct bolt-in upgrade for your LTG engine, leveraging the proven performance of the Borg Warner 6758 EFR turbocharger. This turbo features a dual ceramic ball bearing design for durability and quick spool, an extended tip compressor wheel for improved airflow, and integrated wastegate and bypass valve functions. The custom stainless steel exhaust housing and a unique exhaust wheel crafted from an aluminum titanium alloy contribute to its advanced performance and reduced weight. Installation is streamlined as ZZPerformance includes all necessary fittings and hardware, such as water and oil feed fittings, an outlet tube compatible with factory or ZZP charge tubing, downpipe bolts and nuts, and vacuum connectors. The 6758 model boasts a 67mm OD compressor wheel, a 58mm OD exhaust wheel, a 54mm inlet, and can reach up to 160,000 RPM. The specialized alloy wheel is approximately half the weight of traditional wheels, aiding in faster response. This turbo is recommended for daily drivers and road course applications, with users reporting significant power gains. Typical gains range from 50-75 wheel horsepower on 93 octane and 75-100 wheel horsepower on E85. Manual transmission LTG setups can exceed 450 whp on E85. A specific tune is required after installation to optimize performance with the ZFR turbo and other modifications. Premium fuel is mandatory, and the installation time is estimated at 2-3 hours for experienced individuals, or 4-5 hours for those new to the process. This turbo is specifically set up for the 2.0L Cadillac ATS, CTS, and Chevy Camaro, with a FWD fitment version available for the Regal and Malibu. It's important to note that due to the larger size of the ZFR turbos compared to the stock TD04, ZZPerformance strongly advises against running this turbo on stock LTG engine internals, as it can potentially cause damage.
