Luft-Technik Dual Air Inlet Duct

It directly replaces the restrictive OEM air inlet duct with a larger capacity, dual air inlet scoop, significantly improving the amount of cold outside air fed directly into the air filter. Engineered from heat-resistant, textured matte black polymer, this inlet duct features a smooth taper for optimal air collection. It improves upon the OE design by providing direct airflow into the air box and maximizing available area by utilizing both sides of the front grille assembly. This results in a substantial increase in frontal cold air area by up to +285.6% and a measured reduction in airbox inlet temperature of up to 26° F at redline. The design is compatible with the OEM airbox or aftermarket intakes that utilize the OE air inlet scoop, and its flanged mating surface seals within the OEM airbox just like the stock component. The kit includes the lower and upper dual air inlet duct sections, along with all necessary mounting and assembly hardware. Developed and tested by ECS Tuning's R&D team in Wadsworth, Ohio, this inlet duct utilizes advanced design and manufacturing technologies. While compatible with the OEM expansion tank return hose, ECS Tuning recommends their separately available "Silicone Coolant Hose Re-route Kit" (ES3638683) for improved aesthetics.
