The ECS Tuning Luft-Technik Intake System is an engine intake designed to improve air intake performance for B7 A4 2.0T engines. It features a powder-coated, twin-layer aluminum heat shield to reduce heat soak. The system includes a durable 4-ply silicone throttle body inlet hose and a 3" conical, hi-flow, reusable air filter.

Real-world dyno testing has shown gains of +5 WHP and +5 FT-LBS WTQ, particularly when used with Stage 1 software. The installation requires no modifications and is fully reversible.

The ECS Tuning Luft-Technik Intake System is meticulously developed to enhance the air intake for B7 A4 2.0T engines. Utilizing advanced laser scanning, dyno testing, and 3D CAD technology, this system ensures a factory-like fit within the engine bay while simultaneously boosting engine performance. A robust 4-ply silicone throttle body inlet hose is included for longevity and to prevent collapse, complemented by stainless steel hardware and hose clamps for superior corrosion resistance and durability. The system also incorporates a 3" conical, hi-flow, reusable air filter constructed with 8-ply cotton gauze and a bell-mouth inlet to maximize filtration efficiency and minimize restriction. Real-world dyno testing on an in-house dyno has confirmed performance gains of up to 5 WHP and 5 WTQ when paired with typical Stage 1 ECU upgrades. Owners can expect a broader and smoother torque curve for an improved driving experience, along with a noticeable increase in induction noise during heavy acceleration that signifies the added performance. Designed specifically for B7 A4 2.0T engines, this intake system utilizes all stock mounting locations, requiring no modifications and allowing for a fully reversible installation. It not only enhances performance but also adds a distinct visual element to the engine bay.
