The MAHLE S224-2158 is an engine piston designed as an OE replacement. It features a lightweight design to reduce reciprocating mass, which helps lower bearing loads and provides smoother engine running. The piston also includes MAHLE's GRAFAL anti-friction skirt coating to reduce drag and wear.

This piston is precision machined to tight tolerances and designed with OE form, fit, and function. The expansion-controlled designs ensure small fitting clearances for reduced engine noise and improved oil control. MAHLE is a major OE piston manufacturer.
