LX1200.5 5-Channel Class-D Amplifier

The Kicker LX1200.5 is a 5-channel amplifier engineered with a focus on SQL (Sound Quality Level) design principles and high-output performance. Developed in-house, this premium amplifier line aims to incorporate industry-requested features for maximum performance and reliability. This amplifier employs a Class-D design, contributing to lower current draw, extended playing times, and cooler operating temperatures. It boasts KICKER's FIT+™ technology, which accepts a wide range of input signals, from low-level (125mV–5V) to high-level (1V–40V), with differential inputs designed to effectively eliminate unwanted noise and ensure a crystal-clear audio signal. The LX1200.5 also includes gain-match LEDs to assist in achieving the perfect gain setting. Included with the LX1200.5 is the LX Control Center (LXCC), which provides diagnostic readouts for battery voltage, amplifier temperature, and protection status, along with precision control over gain trim, left-channel time delay, and selectable crossover types (HP, LP, BP) and frequencies. A wired LXRC Dash Remote is also provided for dynamic fingertip control of bass level, display of battery voltage, and an output clipping indicator. For bass enhancement, it features KickEQ+™ with adjustable center frequency and bandwidth for the sub channel, as well as SHOCwave2.0™ digital bass restoration. Key specifications include 175W x 4 RMS @ 2Ω stereo and 350W x 2 RMS @ 4Ω bridged for the main channels, and up to 700W RMS x 1 @ 1Ω mono for the subwoofer channel. The frequency response for stereo channels is 20–20kHz, while the sub channel is 10–160Hz (+0/-1dB). The amplifier is backed by a 2-year warranty when purchased from an authorized Kicker dealer.
