The Kicker LX500.4 amplifier represents a premium line of multi-channel amplifiers designed in-house from the ground up, merging SQL design with high-powered output. This Class-D amplifier offers lower current draw for extended playing times and reduced operating temperatures. It accepts low- and high-level signals up to 40V thanks to FIT+™ technology, which utilizes full differential inputs to eliminate unwanted noise and ensure crystal-clear sound. The LX500.4 provides robust power output with 225 watts RMS x 4 channels at 2 ohms, or 125 watts RMS x 4 channels at 4 ohms. It can also be bridged to deliver 450 watts RMS x 2 channels at 4 ohms, with a dynamic power output of 1100 watts. The amplifier features Gain-Match LEDs to assist in setting the perfect gain, a reversible center panel with customizable RGB LED accent colors, and comprehensive protections for thermal, circuit, and voltage stability. Included with the amplifier is the LX Control Center (LXCC), which allows for precise system tuning. It offers real-time diagnostics for battery voltage, LED output clip indication, amplifier temperature, and protection status. The LXCC also provides control over gain trim, left-channel time delay, and selectable crossover types, slopes, and frequencies (HP, LP, or BP), with selectable topologies including Butterworth and Linkwitz-Riley.
