The genuine BMW M Performance strut brace is a chassis-stiffening component engineered for the M4 CSL program, utilizing finite element numerical modeling to optimize geometry for improved front-end body rigidity. This enhancement directly contributes to increased handling agility and precision. Despite spanning the engine compartment, the brace weighs 7.7 lbs, comparable to the standard G8X steel unit. It comes standard with a silver-grey finish, and an optional black powder coat is available. This strut brace is constructed from cast aluminum and includes additional mounting hardware. It is designed to fit the G80 M3, G82/G83 M4, and G87 M2 models. Compatibility Note: Vehicles equipped with the V1 Eventuri G8X Intake System require the EVE-G8XCSL-CF-KIT Intake Retrofit Kit for proper integration with this strut brace.
