The BMW Genuine Parts M Performance Front Splitter Attachment is crafted from carbon fiber, utilizing a carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic manufactured through a highly elaborate process. This material choice offers significant advantages, including minimal weight combined with very high strength, high-precision tolerances in material thickness, and an outstanding surface quality. The attachment is produced using an autoclave technique that involves a substantial amount of manual work. This M Performance front attachment is specifically tailored for the BMW G80 M3 and G82/G83 M4 models, enhancing aerodynamics for a sporty driving style. It has also undergone testing for pedestrian protection, meeting all relevant legal requirements. Installation of this front splitter attachment requires the use of additional components. Specifically, it must be used in combination with Adhesive primer VP 206 (30ML) 83199407777, Adhesive set 1K (80 ml) 83195A326D0, and Expanding rivets (part numbers 17111712963, 07147401727, and 51471911992).
