M Performance Red Brake Kit

The BMW M Performance brake kit provides enhanced stopping power and a sporty aesthetic for compatible F2x 2 Series and F3x 3 & 4 Series BMWs. This kit features a red finish and M branding on the calipers, signifying its performance-oriented design. The braking system utilizes robust Brembo calipers, with 4-piston aluminum fixed calipers on the front axle and 2-piston aluminum fixed calipers on the rear axle. These are paired with improved thermal resistance thanks to larger, internally-vented lightweight construction sports brake discs. The dimpled and grooved brake discs, measuring 370 x 30 mm on the front and 345 x 24 mm on the rear, help reduce water film build-up and improve wet-weather performance. This comprehensive kit includes front rotors, front and rear brake pads, wear sensors, calipers, mounting hardware, and heat shields. However, rear rotors are sold separately and require at least 18-inch rims. A crucial post-installation step involves coding the DSC (Dynamic Stability Control) system for M Sport Brakes (S2NHA) to ensure proper brake bias and optimal performance.
