Crafted from durable T304 stainless steel, this performance muffler features dual 76mm tips that are designed to align with the factory cutout on M-Technic bumpers. For optimal fitment with the M-Technic rear bumper, minor trimming of the bumper may be required. Supersprint has a long-standing reputation for designing and building top-tier BMW exhausts, backed by over 60 years of experience and extensive testing with race teams. This dedication to quality materials and performance feedback ensures that their systems extract power from the engine while delivering a refined sound. This "Cat.-Back" system is compatible with the OEM catalytic converter and does not come with European or Swiss Homologation. This muffler is specifically designed for the E39 chassis, including models such as the 525i (M54 2.5L), 528i (M52 2.8L), and 530i (M54 3.0L). While it integrates with the M-Technic bumper's cutout, it's important to note that on all other E39 models, the tips will sit below the stock bumper. For those seeking the M-Technic aesthetic on a non-M Technic E39, this muffler can be installed, but it will necessitate trimming the rear bumper to properly house the dual tips. This provides a more accessible route to achieving the desired M-Technic look.
